The origin of the coffee

Hello! Welcome to my café~J Until now, I explained about tea! Today I’ll explain about the coffee.

Coffee bean which produced from coffee trees is roasted for a certain period of time, finely crushed and extracted the ingredients by using water. Coffee is the drink that made by this process. Coffee was called ‘gahwa’ in Arabia,  ‘Kahve’ in Turkey, ‘’café’ in Europe and ‘Arabia wine’ in the UK. Coffee get current name since Sir Henry Blunt, coffee lover started calling ‘coffee’.

The most famous origin of coffee is ‘set of Kaldi’. Ethiopian shepherd boy Kaldi saw his goat hopping around in excited state. Since then, he looked at the behavior of the goats. Kaldi who closely observed the goats few days found that goat are extremely excited after eating the red fruit of any tree in the field. He became curious about the ingredients and the tastes of its fruit, and ate the fruit. He feel the fatigue disappear and ecstasy after eating the fruit. Straight, he announced this fact to the priest in the nearby temple. Priests found that red berries chase sleep and this fact was spread several temples.

The second origin of the coffee is ‘Omar’s discovery’. The priest of Arabia, Sheik Omar was deported to the mountain because of his mistake in 1258. He wandered the way a couple of days. He was so hungry that he ate the red berries that a bird was pecking. Omar who eat that fruits regained the vigor and knew the effectiveness of this fruits. After this, he used this fruits in the treatment of many people and was esteemed as a saint.

The third origin of the coffee is ‘Ethiopian origins’. Ethiopia , unlike in other regions that extracted in liquid form and used coffee as medicine, treated coffee like a food by crushing the fruit of the coffee tree with other grains. This coffee beans increasingly reached out to various areas to the Arabian.
